Privacy Notice for the Processing of Collected Personal Data
In compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 (European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data), we provide you with the necessary information regarding the processing of the personal data you have provided. This notice does not apply to other websites that may be accessed through links on our site.
This notice is provided in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 and is also inspired by the provisions of Directive 2002/58/EC, as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC, regarding Cookies, and by the Authority's Provision for the Protection of Personal Data dated 08.05.2014 on cookies.
1. DATA PROCESSING CONTROLLERS
DATA CONTROLLER, in accordance with Articles 4 and 24 of EU Regulation 2016/679, is:
STS srl, with registered office at Via V.Breda 38, 62012 Civitanova Marche (MC).
2. PURPOSE AND LEGITIMACY OF PROCESSING
The personal data provided, including Name, Surname, address, email, phone, and tax information, will be processed in accordance with the conditions of lawfulness under Article 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679 for the following purposes:
a) Data processing management (Article 6 letter b):
- Navigation on this website;
- Filling out forms for data collection to manage orders, send a quote request, and handle any product returns.
- Fulfillment of contractual and legal obligations and administrative-accounting purposes, such as issuing invoices, preparing payments, etc. For the application of personal data protection provisions, the processing carried out for administrative-accounting purposes is related to organizational, administrative, financial, and accounting activities, regardless of the nature of the processed data.
b) Data processing management (Article 6 letter a):
- With prior consent and until opposition is raised, to receive, through automated means, commercial newsletters, promotional material, informational material, and initiatives from the data controller.
For comparison and possible improvement of communication results, the Controller uses systems for sending newsletters and promotional communications with reports.
Thanks to the reports, the Controller can know, for example: the number of readers, openings, unique "clickers" and clicks; devices and operating systems used to read the communication; details of individual user activity; details of sent emails, delivered and undelivered emails, forwarded emails;
All this data is used to compare and, if necessary, improve communication results.
3. RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF DATA RECIPIENTS
The provided personal data may be communicated to recipients, designated under Article 28 of EU Regulation 2016/679, who will process the data as data processors and/or as individuals acting under the authority of the Controller and the Processor, in order to fulfill contracts or related purposes. Specifically, the data may be communicated to recipients belonging to the following categories:
- Entities providing services for the management of the information system and communication networks of STS Srl (including email).
- Studies or companies within the scope of assistance and consulting relationships, transportation;
- Competent authorities for compliance with legal obligations and/or provisions of public authorities, upon request;
- In the case of administrative-accounting purposes, data may be transmitted to commercial information companies for assessing solvency and payment habits and/or to entities for debt collection purposes.
The entities belonging to the aforementioned categories act as data processors, or operate independently as distinct Data Controllers. The list of designated data processors is constantly updated and available at the headquarters of STS Srl.
4. TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY AND/OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION
The collected data may also be transferred abroad to companies, including those outside the European Union (international payment gateways such as PayPal, Google Ireland Limited, or couriers such as UPS).
5. STORAGE PERIOD OR CRITERIA
The processing will be carried out in an automated and/or manual form, with methods and tools aimed at ensuring the maximum security and confidentiality, by subjects specifically appointed for this purpose.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(e) of EU Regulation 2016/679, personal data collected will be stored in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for a period not exceeding the purposes for which the personal data are processed.
6. NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA AND REFUSAL
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data in dedicated areas on the site. The provision of personal data for the purposes mentioned in point a) of this information document is necessary to complete specific functionalities and use the services offered by the data controller, such as placing an order. Failure to provide personal data may result in the impossibility of obtaining the requested service or using the services offered by the site.
The provision of personal data and consent to their processing for the purposes mentioned in point b) is optional. In the absence of this, STS Srl may be unable to send informational material, commercial or promotional communications, customer satisfaction surveys, invitations to events, and initiatives promoted by the same via newsletters.
7. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
You may assert your rights as expressed in Articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679 by contacting the Controller, writing to the address info@stscomponenti.it.
You have the right, at any time, to request access to your personal data from the Controller, object to processing, request deletion, modification, or updating of all personal information collected by STS Srl, and exercise the right to limit processing and the right to data portability.
